SOMAC is always looking for committed volunteers to serve the corps. No prior medical experience is needed. If interested in learning to provide emergency medical care, the corps is willing to sponsor members who wish to enroll in an EMT class.

If you are interested in helping but do not wish to get involved with providing medical services, contact SOMAC officers about driving for us. Drivers are a crucial part of every crew, and current drivers are willing to teach new members how to drive and operate our ambulances as well as train new members about the responsibilities of being a driver.

To drive you must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Town members interested in volunteering should contact Chief of Operations Dave Snyder at 824-3089.

Colgate students should contact either of the student coordinators through The COVE located in East Hall.
